Do you know Weißwasser?

The town of glass and ice sports. Weißwasser is located in the second biggest and densest woodland of Germany, embedded in a sunny natural paradise, between the rivers Spree and Neiße, also home of the Lusatian Sorbs, a Slavic ethnic group.

Not without reason the region is called „Heide- und Teichlandschaft“ (heath and ponds landscape), because a number of rivers, lakes and pond areas come out the extensive heath land, a perfect destination for water and hiking tourists who like to go swimming, to surf, to row or to roam the wood.

Even if you just know a little about Weißwasser (in Sorbian: „Bela Woda – clear water“), just feel warmly invited!

Not all of the sights have been nearly showed, but just look! Because: „Wer Weißwasser kennt, der weiß was er kennt!“ („the one who knows Weißwasser knows what he knows!“)
