The „Glasmuseum Weißwassser“ (glass museum Weißwasser) was opened on the 03 June 1996 in the thoroughly restored „Villa Gelsdorf“.

Amongst documents and contemporary witness of the history of Weißwasser the museum contains an extensive collection of glass products that were produced in local factories in the 19th and 20th century.

sAmong them there is a special glass collection of Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Friedrich Bundtzen.
Faithful copied working places afford an insight into the typical production runs of the glass production and refinement.
